Military Personnel

military personnel

This project recognises the sacrifice of all those military personnel who served in The Great War.

We intend to list all who joined up, discover which military arm they served in and search out any references to them in newspapers and documents. It is hoped that descendants of these people will offer more information, photographs, correspondence, copies of medals etc. in order that we can create as complete a picture as possible of each person who served.

The resulting data will be available to the public both on this website and in paper form at Whitchurch Heritage Centre.

The Military Personnel project is being undertaken by Whitchurch Museum and Archive volunteers.
