Personal Details

Born in Newhall, Aston, Nantwich, Cheshire in 1879, the son of Richard and Elizabeth Caulcott. Husband of Florence Elizabeth Caulcott (nee Hughes) and father to a daughter also called Florence Elizabeth. Frederick was a butcher by trade.

The inference from the UK Census records is that Frederick emigrated to Australia between 1901 and 1911 (his daughter was 2 at the time of the 1911 Census at which he was not present).

Frederick enlisted in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

Died of wounds; France 15th April 1916 Aged 37

Medals and Awards

No record of Frederick’s medals can be found, although he should have been awarded the Victory and British War medals, serving overseas.
