Personal Details

Born in Winsford, Cheshire in 1882, the second son of Frederick and Martha Dale of Oxheys Farm, Tarporley, Cheshire.

Husband of Lily Dale of ‘Roseneath’, Huxley, Cheshire; father of Norman.

His occupation in the 1911 Census was provision dealer.

Walter’s brothers Albert and Frank also lost their lives in the Great War and are commemorated on the Wrenbury and Wrenbury School Memorials.
