Family: He was the only child born to George Booth Batho, a farmer, and his wife Mary Parsons Batho. He married May Elizabeth Jones in Wem in 1924. There do not appear to be any children born to the couple.
Residence: He lived with his parents at Massey House, Tilstock Park, Whitchurch, Shropshire until at least 1911. His enlistment papers show his father as next of kin living at Oak Lodge, Aston, Wem, Shropshire. In 1939 he was living in Watergate Street, Chester.
Employment: In 1939 he was a postal worker, specifically a sorter.
Died: We believe he died on 20 November 1956 in Chester.
