Family: The son of Thomas and Eliza Humphreys of 11 Moreton Street, Prees, Shropshire. He married May Hall in 1912 and together they had a son, Sidney C; and possibly a further son, Harold G.

Residence:In 1919 he was living at 3 Churton’s Yard, Bark Hill, Whitchurch and in 1939 he was living at 46 Talbot Street.
