Family: The first son of George and Annie Millington of The Glebe, Darliston, Prees, Shropshire. George married Margaret E Drysdale in 1925 and together they had 2 children – Joan and George H.
Civilian Occupation: On leaving school he worked as a waggoner on a farm. When he enlisted he was working as a plater’s helper. In 1939 he was working as relief signalman.
Residence: In 1939 he lived at 67 O’Sullivan Crescent, St. Helens, Lancashire.
Died: In 1976 aged 81.
