"Mr & Mrs Francis, 152 Wrexham Road, Whitchurch have received many expressions of sympathy in the death in action on the 25th April of their son, Bombardier Ernest Edward Francis RFA. He had been in the Army since February 1916, before enlisting he was in the employment of JR Bennett, Green End, Whitchurch"
