Joseph Graydon

Rev Richard William Dugdale

Personal Details

Born in Lisnaskea, Fermanagh, Northern Ireland in 1889, the second son of Catherine Graydon of 28 Ash Parva, Whitchurch, Shropshire.

The 1911 Census shows him working as a domestic gardener.

Joseph died of heart failure at Prees Heath Military Hospital, Shropshire.

Joseph’s brother William was killed at the Battle of the Somme in 1916.

Died at home; UK 18 March 1916 Aged 27 (note the CWGC entry shows his death as 18 March 1917)
