Personal Details
Born: 9 July 1892 in Whitchurch, Shropshire.
Family: He was the youngest of seven children born to Edwin Davies, a clothier, and his wife Lucy Emma. He married Emily Christina Bradbury in 1919 in Whitchurch and together they had at least one child, Eileen B.
Residence: In 1901 and 1911 the family were living at 10 Green End, Whitchurch, Shropshire. By 1939 they had moved to Church Street, Malpas, Cheshire. When Harold died in 1960 he was living at 4 Richmond Terrace, Whitchurch.
Employment: In 1911 he was assisting in the family clothing business; when he enlisted in 1915 he declared his occupation as engineer and in 1939 he was an electrical contractor.
Died: 22 August 1960 in Whitchurch, aged 68, and was buried in Whitchurch cemetery on 25 August the same year.
