Personal Details

Born: 22 December 1882 and baptised 21 January 1883

Family: Youngest of 7 children born to Joseph and Eliza Allott. Married Rose Finlay in 1911 and together they had two children, Kenneth C B and Dennis N G

Residence: Born in Croscombe, Somerset. In 1901 Hubert was a pupil at a school in Cheltenham. Later that year he started his studies at Guy’s Hospital, London. Immediately prior to his marriage he was listed in the 1911 census as a boarder at a property in Corwen, Merionethshire, Wales. The following year the family were living in Pontypridd, Glamorgan and two years later they were living in Nenthead on the Cumberland/Westmorland border. After the end of WW1 Hubert lived at 5 Bridgewater Street, Whitchurch, Shropshire without his family. In 1939 he was living in Gillingham, Kent with his second wife, Agnes.

Employment: Before enlisting Hubert was the visiting medical officer at Alston & District Cottage Hospital in Northumberland. At the end of WW1 he was a medical officer at Prees Heath camp in Shropshire.

Died: 23 November 1952 in North Buckinghamshire aged 69.
